Meditating with an animal can be incredibly beneficial for both the animal and the person. Animals naturally possess a calming presence that can help us to relax and become more mindful. Additionally, animals often mirror our emotions and can help to reduce stress and anxiety levels. Studies have also found that petting an animal can improve our mood, boost our immune system, and lower cortisol levels, a hormone associated with stress. Finally, having an animal as a meditation partner can help us to stay accountable and motivated to meditate more often.

I invite you to follow my words. They feel right to you. If you feel guided to take another Journey, feel free to do so, and know that you can come back at any time. Just take a deep breath, all the way into your belly. And then slowly breathe out.

I invite you to see in your mind’s eye you are walking into this beautiful Meadow. It’s lovely weather, and the temperature is just fine. You can hear birds singing. You smell the beautiful wildflowers. You walk barefoot, and it feels great to connect to Mama Earth. With every step you make, you feel your beautiful massaging. Your feet and your senses are being awakened. Look around and see. See the beautiful trees.

Smell all the smells. And listen to. Your sounds that you are making. You are starting to get attracted to a beautiful pond. So you make your way to this pond? The reflection of the water. You can see yourself. It’s nice to connect with you. To look into your eyes. You get the sense of really diving into the water.

So take a moment. Just dive into this fresh water. And feel how it is just recharging you. You turn around to look into the water, and you see. That you shift it into a beautiful deer. Take a moment and get used to four legs, a beautiful body, your hands, and your antlers. The way you look at the world at these different heights. The way you can move your head and go down and eat grass. The taste of grass. Even smells. Do you feel? Like running. Like racing jumping up and down, take a moment to adjust, really explore all of this. Bucking and jumping, running around. Why are you running over the fields? You connect with a couple of other deer. And then, you can embrace the beautiful feeling of being part of their group’s community.

These deer are taking you on an adventure. And you are walking together. They show you where all the best wildflowers are and how they feel in your body. And then, all of you will lay down and rest and be Who made Don next to an older wiser deer, this is your moment to ask your questions. Or connect with that heart feeling. Or to just be. Just settle in. And be here with this beautiful dear. I’m going to hold the space for you. And take all the time. To hear, feel a sense, and be here in and out with these deer.

After a beautiful rest, all of you are slowly getting up. You start to walk back to the water. Of course, another run is in there, and a little bit of bucking and playing around with each other. And you arrive back at this beautiful water source and feel like walking in. The other deer stay on the sides, but you are going to walk all the way in. You feel how the water is emerging over you. Do you feel how cleansing the water is again? You slowly start to walk out; you notice that you are back into your own body. You see the deer watching you. They recognize your soul. You think of them for the beautiful information, sharing the fun, and the joy of running around the experience. You find your way back to your path. You were walking barefoot on this beautiful grassy land and having a little bit of massage on your feet.

Well, you are entering back and sensing your chair or your bed. Are you lying on and reconnecting with the sounds in your room, anchoring you back? Then take a deep breath in. When you open your eyes, look around your beautiful sanctuary.

Thank you so much for taking this journey with me.

I’m so grateful, namaste!
